What to Expect
We offer an elementary-age, PreK-5th Grade, children’s service each week downstairs in our children’s hall, where we worship and go through a message typically based on the current sermon series. We follow it up with fun application activities to help engage with the message.
Our infant nursery is located on the main level, and classrooms for 3 – PreK are upstairs in our tree fort play area. Check-in is located to the left of the main entrance. We use Hands On Bible curriculum by Group Publishing for the Toddlers – PreK classes.
Supervision is provided by a combination of paid staff and volunteers.
PreK-5th graders meet Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8 pm during the school year to dig into the Word and practice serving. We use SparkHouse curriculum, include activities, and game time. Optional Tuesday dinner.
Being part of a life group is a great way to connect. We believe that people are different, so we have different kinds of groups:
Life Groups focus on relationships, and the lesson.
Teams focus on service.
We have groups available throughout the week. Contact Pastor Henry Couser at (907) 345-7830 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Sunday mornings our students participate in worship at either the Rabbit Creek Church Hillside campus or Huffman campus. This is a very deliberate choice focused on engaging with an inter-generational body of believers. They worship, learn and give as a part of their larger family of faith. These relationships are key to growing into their own faith and feeling the power of the larger body of Christ.
Tuesday Small Groups
Students meet every Tuesday during the school year for activities, worship, bible study and prayer groups. These groups will be either age and gender separated for deep discussion, or randomly generated to build understanding and relationship depending on the semester. These groups meet at 12-100 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
