Josh was raised by his mother and father in Senoia Georgia. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9 and spend several years in various church settings.
At 17 he joined the U.S. Army and served as a parachute infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division. After a deployment to Iraq he transitioned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal training. After graduating EOD school he was assigned to JBER, formerly Ft. Richardson Alaska. Several years and a deployment to Afghanistan later, the Lord called Josh into ministry with the local church. He served as a volunteer youth director while guiding halibut out of Homer. The church called him part-time and eventually full-time staff and he served as pastor of youth and music from 2012 until 2017. He is joined in ministry by his bride Christina and they have a three year old son named Jackson! While Josh grew up in Georgia, Christina was raised in Oklahoma while Jackson was born and loves his Alaska.
